Spherical Cast Steel Shot
Spherical cast steel shot is a high-carbon cast abrasive with a hardness of 460–560 HV ± 40 HV (46–53 HRC) in accordance with ISO 11125-3.
It is designed for high-performance blast cleaning processes, particularly in automated shot blasting systems equipped with turbine wheels.
Chemical Composition
Chemical composition complies with ISO 11125-1 and SAE J827 standards.
Typical composition of cast steel:

Carbon (C): 0.8 – 1.2%

Manganese (Mn): 0.35 – 1.2%
-
Silicon (Si): minimum 0.4%
-
Sulfur (S) and Phosphorus (P): maximum 0.05%
Grain Size Range
Grain size distribution:
S 70 – S 1320, in accordance with SAE J444 (AUG 84, revised May 1993).
